Splish Splash Fun at Tukad Unda Dam, Bali
Tukad Unda Dam, Bali, Indonesia. The dam is made on a river Tukad Unda – a major one in Bali – in Klungkung. It is a popular spot among the locals, who come to bathe and wash their clothes. The dam is also a wonderful source of play for the children, who splash water from the buckets on each other.
Klungkung is on the way to Ubud and is culturally as well as historically significant. It is famous for the classic Balinese paintings, that are being exhibited in Semarajaya Museum and Klungkung Palace. Taman Gili – the remains of the original palace – is one of the main attractions.
